Broadband Adapter (Dreamcast BBA)

After 17 years of wanting to buy a BBA and $108 later, I finally have one - a SEGA Dreamcast Broadband Adapter! Sure, there are more games which are compatible with the dial-up modem / DreamPi, but dang it, ever since SEGA gave away a BBA during a game of PSO that I played in 2001, I have wanted a BBA very much!

Seriously, SEGA, the prize for the trivia contest in the lobby was supposed to be a $50 Dreamcast game, not a $60 BBA! Sure, he asked for one, but did you really have to make an exception for him due to him being a mega fan that already owned so many of the games but not the Broadband Adapter? ;-)

im using a bba myself, i plan on playing quake 3 online

Can the BBA plug directly into a modern Broadband router, or is it a lot of work to revive similar to the modem?

@roareye yeah it works with modern routers, you just setup a static LAN address via dc browser which is very simple
