I'm pissed.

I bought a dreamcast off ebay, guy said it was working, didn't come with anything but the console. 60 dollars, okay, nice price. Buy it, it arrives with everything else I've ordered (controllers, vmus, crazy taxi, only the necessities) plug it in it works fine, then I realized I don't have the right av cables, I thought my ps1 cables would work, whatever. A bit bugged but I order an av hdmi converter off amazon, arrives the next day plug everything in and... nothing, it doesn't turn on for more than half a second, I hear a popping noise and it shuts off, won't turn on again. Awesome. Open it up to see that the power supply fried itself, I used the wrong power cable, it was underpowered, the av cable that I bought off amazon requires its own power to work or whatever so that strained the already underpowered dreamcast and fried it. Along with that looking into it the guy who I bought the dreamcast from REPLACED THE ORIGINAL POWER SUPPLY. And not with some aftermarket one like if his original one broke, no. It literally looked like a bomb with its wiring. SO, I buy an actual power supply off ebay, 5 bucks so I guess I can't complain. Get it, thing turns on everything works fine... THE FUCKING DISC DRIVE WON'T READ THE DISCS. I don't even know if I want to get a new one I'm just too tired at this point and I don't even know if it's just the drive or some other problem with the system. I just want to play jojo.
