Sonic 4 IS better than Sonic Mania (with FACTS and LOGIC)

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 is, in fact, superior to Sonic Mania. I'm surprised we're in the year 2022 and we're still debating this, 4 beats Mania, end of discussion. Do you want proof? I'll give you some, so strap in and prepare to have your mind blown...

First off, Sonic Mania just looks like trash. No I don't care that Sonic has black eyes or uses his classic design, he just looks like trash. Ugly pixels, the colours, it just clashes together to make a blocky mess. Sonic 4, on the other hand, uses beautiful 3D graphics with extreme depth and detail, like any 21st century game SHOULD be doing. Sorry Mega Drive fans, your era is gone.

Sonic 4 also has the balls to do NEW things. Sonic Mania shamelessly rips level gimmicks from previous games and pastes them into its own levels. The Marble Garden spikeballs in Stardust Speedway? How original! Fuck you Sonic Mania, should've just gone the whole way and brought Marble Garden back. At least Sonic 4 does cool stuff with the gimmicks it brings back. Sonic 4: Episode 2 specifically has new team moves you can do with Sonic and Tails, literally making Tails useful for once in a 2D game (don't even say 'Tails saved Sonic in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3' because Sonic easily could've survived in his super form).

The music in Sonic Mania is garbage, the choice of instruments never works, no song in this game is above average. Sonic 4 was innovative, and it worked, Sonic Mania stuck with the ugly snares and boops of the Mega Drive which creates an awful music score that I hardly call music, I usually just call it noise.

Sonic 4 also has the homing attack, so it's automatically better.

Finally, so this post doesn't go on for too long, Sonic 4 was once called Sonic The Portable, which sounds infinitely cooler than Sonic Mania.

All in all, fuck you Christian Whitehead for making such a bad game and fuck you Cybershell for spreading such blatant misinformation like 'Sonic Mania is better than Sonic 4.' Also fuck you Sega for cancelling Sonic 4: Episode 3. Also fuck you Sonic 3 & Knuckles for existing, as a matter of fact, fuck every other Sonic game that came before Sonic 4 for coming out before Sonic 4, Sonic 4 should've been the first in the series.

Ever get stuck in Hydrocity, USE BUTTON MASH. Sonic mania also doesn't use pixels unless you are looking at an extremely zoomed in image. The team mode didnt work AT ALL and was a watered down version of sonic 3 tails assist

The homing attack only exsisted to help traverse and destroy things in a 3d space, sonic 4 is a 2d game, also sonic 4 doesnt even have the one thing that makes sonic not a mario clone, and that is momentum and speed based gameplay. No matter what sonic does not move fast unless you have super sonic in sonic 4

Are you trolling Pip? Sonic Mania is better then Sonic 4 in everyway. Even the trailers for Sonic Mania when they go in the elevator you see the numbers and letters 1, 2, 3, K, then M. Theres no 4 because that game was disliked by a lot of people and hated. They never made episode 3 for Sonic 4 because the game was hated so much
