Back during my dial-up days, I always just used... either PlanetWeb or JGR's built-in Web browser to download the images. I don't think his approach is required at all.

Sorry, I was trying to go from my memory, saying either PlanetWeb or the included JGR Web browser works, yet not both. Anyway, it turns out that you actually need JGR's Web browser to download the tags. Unfortunately, you also needed the JGR Web site to redirect to a destination of your choice outside of the JGR site. :-/

Here's a guide from 2000: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/file/jet_grind_radio_internet_tag.txt

You could probably still follow this guide if you used a DNS to redirect your DC Web browser to the server of your choice instead of the old, missing JGR site.

Keep in mind, it has been years since I used any Dreamcast Web browser. Does Web browsing and Internet access even work with Dreamcast emulators such as NullDC?

I found some evidence of someone going online using an emulator and PSO, but it required a VPN and only worked with BBA-compatible software, so it seems like too much work to me. However, I'd still like to try it.

With regards to the link, if you mean the GameFAQs one, it works fine for me in the Firefox and Chromium Web browsers.

If you'd like, you can try this other link. It might work for you: https://www.gamefaqs.com/dreamcast/197687-jet-grind-radio/faqs/12166
