Immortal Hero Chao

I have this one Chao in my hero garden and I swear to God it's immortal. It's not a Chaos Chao, just a regular unassuming Hero Chao. I have about 90 hours in SA2 and this fucker is still alive. The first Chao I put in there has already reincarnated, and I've put many Chao in that garden since, some growing into fully mature Chao, and by some fucking miracle this Chao that I've had since near the beginning of the game hasn't died. The only logical explanation I have is that this Chao, for whatever reason, is always in the water, and that somehow postpones my estimations of his death date.

I wonder if talking about it is gonna jinx it or something, oh well :p

P.S. Is there a glitch in SA2 that causes a Chao to not die?

So theres 2 reasons it seems immortal
1. Chao do not age at all unless you are in the same garden that they are in, they also dont age in the kindergarten so playtime doesnt matter only time in that specific garden does
2. If a chao is ready for evolution, death or reincarnation but is in water,it cant enter the cacoon

It's probably #2, I've stood idle in the garden for a long time waiting for my other Chao to mature and he's been going past 6 hours

I wonder if the game is fucked because of the water, somehow extending this Chao's life past 6 hours, and since the game has no clue how to deal with this it keeps it alive

I'll see if I can set something up. I will copy the game onto another VMU, because I don't want the game to look at the Chao, realise something is broken, and fix it.
