Suggestion : world ranking DLC

So there is a ton of unused content in this game for world rankings, almost every single asset, maybe a vmu dlc could add the option and features. Since dlc does work by taking unused content and activating it or mapping out a new map and enemy spawns (like shown in custom downloadable quests in pso sylverant server) it should be possible to add world rankings using all the already existing assets plus the coding to set it up and make it selectable. obviously any dlc adding new features would need alot of the vmu storage. I don't know how to code the vmu dlc but maybe someone else does and could do this.

I would totally love to see a world ranking system added to this game. Like yousaid. All of it's there, it just needs to be coded which I believe can. One day thought it can. I believe more then one person should work on it thought

It might be harder than you think, sprites and voice clips are there, but to set up a worldwide server system to hold the scores of maybe hundreds of individuals is just difficult. And, as you said, VMU storage would be a major issue. The reason VMU DLCs are so notoriously big is because everything is saved on to it instead of just certain aspects.

TL;DR, worldwide servers are a big issue, and the VMU has as much storage as the memory capacity of a fucking ant

Yeah makes since. Probably the only way I could see it working would be through website but even that has an issue as theres no way to create send data like in sa1

True I agree with you. A lot of work would need to be done and vmu size. Couldn't you make a patch for the game?

I could see someone altering SA2 itself and then releasing it to burn on a disc
