SADX sucked big time, and it's the reason every wanna-be AVGN/Game Grump/Youtube Essayist dunks on SA1. I don't even know how they managed to fuck it up so bad when they ported SA2 FIRST and it came out decent enough (SA2DC still rules though!).

Really if I wanna play SA1 with better graphics Ill just fucking emulate it. The only thing sadx does it increase the resolution, which can be done on a real dreamcast by simple modification (Hdrgb did this)

		I think the constant pursuit of 'better graphics' can make games less fun. I don't play Sonic Adventure (or many other games for that matter) for the graphics. Good graphics can definitely help a game (with the caveat of diminishing returns after you pass about 1080p 60fps), but as long as it gets the job done and doesn't detract from the experience, I couldn't care less about the resolution or polygon count of my games. A good framerate is certainly a plus, but as long as it is pretty steady, even that doesn't make or break an experience for me. It doesn't help that most of the prettier, more modern games aren't half as fun as many older "uglier" games.
