Best Character to choose for team play

Hey there guys.
Just got myself a DreamPi, and I'm looking forward to playing PSO for the first time with anyone else who's still doing so in 2019. However, before I jump in the game I wanted to know if there are any characters who are in short supply or high demand for teams. I try to be a team player in games like these, so I'd like to shore up any weaknesses that teams tend to have right now and choose a character accordingly, rather than accidentally picking someone who everyone else picked too.
If it doesn't really matter and I'm overthinking this, just let me know. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Video games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man effected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive music.

Every class is good but you sound like a Force Player Tang. Buff the party and zap stuff.

Generally this is the thing
HUmar : bulldoze the crowds of tough enemies
Hunewearl: keeps the team somewhat alive while killing tough enemies
HUcast : HUmar but ya cant resta
RA : ya sit back with a shotgun and steal everyone's kills XD (or shoot down the tougher enemies)
All forces can cast buffs (all characters can but forces are technique based so them moreso)
FOmar : megid spamming, rng needed
FOnewm : complete nukage of rooms (he gets +30% damage for GI and RA techs) and potential for a boss killer (pow mag, soul eater, shifts LV30, mainly do this for single player or noobie carrying).
FOnewearl : castin buffs at most efficiency, good luck fighting on your own.....
