Help determining better character

I would recommend the RAmar for solo play. If you are willing to grind for a long time you can gain access to some heavy firepower like the Red Handgun, and Heaven Punisher (Took me about a month to finally grind one out). You can also use teq's like Resta for healing, and Razonde for max exp gain. Also online, your portion is to snipe enemies from a distance letting the Hunters deal massive damage with Melee attacks. This means you wont be taking too many hits, which helps a ton when grinding from a low level like 30.

I just think Forces are much harder to play, with their constant TP drain. You really have to stay on top of their resources in battle and make sure they're full. Forces play a support role. They cant deal a ton of damage, but they can support the party with Magic.

Edit: Realized you said HUMAR instead of RAmar. In that case I would still recommend the HUmar. He can still gain access to the most powerful melee weapons in the game, but you'll be up close with enemies so you'll need to be careful and plan out your attacks. I would recommend grinding up to about level 50 or so, before trying to handle a Very Hard game. An underleveled Hunter can get overwhelmed easily, but one thats strong enough can bulldoze through waves of enemies.
