Phantasy Star (Online and otherwise) is awesome and wickedly underrated outside of Japan. If you like turn-based JRPGs, check out Ian Michael's Phantasy Star collection on Dreamcast. It gives you all four mainline Genesis/MegaDrive games along with the two Game Gear spinoffs and a bunch of neat extras. All are good to fantastic (I'm not as much a fan of 3, but some people love it).

Whatever you do, stay clear of pso2. That game is shitty
