Is Sega Channel still active?

Let's say, hypothetically, for the sake of the argument, I somehow got Sega Channel to work, does it still have anything on it? I've heard it was some sort of satellite related shenanigans, but I'm sure whatever service or satellite or whatever it used is now long gone.

So is it just nothing, or are the games on it stuck there forever?

There ARE archives however since the satellites are now down the games wont be in the database anymore, not unless someone restored all of it with satellites and put all the rom archives and somehow made it work with sega channel.
