What is eveyone's personal favorite Genesis game?

To this community: What is your favorite Genesis game(s)? Go into detail if you want.
Mine currently are currently a tie between Sonic 2, Sonic 3&K, and Bonanza Bros (of which I find quite addictive)

Probably Ristar. Love the artstyle and music, though I'm pretty shit at the game all things considered.

Cool choice! I've heard thats a good one, tho i have not played it myself yet due to how much it tends to go for (at least the last I checked). Honestly glad Igot my HD graphics model 1 7 years ago before Genesis prices shot up!

sonic 3&K is the easy answer but ristar is also great. i haven't played many genesis games though, just the few they put in sonic collections.

In my opinion the best MD game is Shinobi 3 hands down even though people don't explode when they die. Can't wait until August 29th!!

Sonic is second obviously

Gunstar Heroes! One of the best run and gun games imo.
