Sonic CD would be on the list too, but it's effectively been replaced for me by the 2011 Remake.

Video games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man effected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive music.

Everyone is leaving out Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side. Such an underrated 2D fighter. I wish we got a sequel on Saturn or Dreamcast.
