List of Games With Browser Support

I'm using this post to compile a list of DC games that have in-game browser support. And to serve as a checklist for myself. Rather than restoring every single site; I'm going to make a landing page that will take you to DreamPipe, or the archived website for historical purposes (If they were archived). To achieve the goal of a gaming network for Dreamcast, we must provide access to DreamPipe on all of the games with web functions

Propeller Arena (Unreleased Game) - It seems this has a built-in browser. But I am not sure if any disc images have the binary hacked correctly to run on a CDR. I will redirect this, but it requires advanced redirection like the others marked "Needs config". If the binary is not hacked for CDR use and/or ripped out, I will not partake in piracy by releasing an image with the binary and proper LBA hack

[Needs Config] - A link to a specific file or directory needs additional config that I have not figured out at this time. But you will be brought to DreamPipe with a 404 allowing web usage
[Online] - Landing page redirection operational

interesting as a update it tries jet grind radio, Daytona usa and they still cannot go to dreampipe, also sa1 goes strait to dreampipe instead of the sa1 website, not sure if you meant that but thought i do a update

The redirection will be on Kazade's DNS server. Everything for the Dreamcast will be on his DNS. I'm not sure when he'll do all the redirects. Fixed SA1 and I could add Daytona and Jet Grind Radio if you wanted to see my landing pages on console. Everything is already setup for Kazade to add them when he has time. When that happens i'll post here

I heard from Kazade and he said I have to do the redirects on my server then he can point to it on his DNS. I did a few tonight, i'll do more tomorrow night and the rest over the weekend

Test what you can and let me know if it works correctly

okay grab a drink this is going to b long, so to start off i do not have dreampi and do not plan to, i have dial up, pc-dc and bba and do not plan to get anymore( is there a specific Kazade's DNS?) and now onto the games, the ones redirected that i have are cm, msr, virtual on, jet grind and f355. so cm and virtual on do not have internet features in them so they cannot be tested. jet grind still does not go anywhere and f355 does go to dreampipe but a page at dreampipe the has a 404 error or something. sa1 also gives the option to go to dreampipe or the archive website but the website just goes to a blank page. also will test msr soon

tried out msr and it like sa1 gave me the option of dreampipe or archive wesite

You can use the DreamPipe DNS or Kazade's DNS for the redirects. For JGR, you have to install wireshark and see what address it tries to connect to I might only have the Europe address redirected. The index of SA goes to a blank page, a splash screen then the main site, you might just have to wait a few seconds

All have been redirected with the exception of Skies of Arcadia, Hundred Swords, NFL 2k1, and Unreal Tournement. SOA, HS, and NFL are in sub directories which I had issues redirecting in the past. I'll try to figure that out but I am unable to test without the legit discs. Unreal Tournament I don't have the original URL for, if someone finds that out I can redirect

sweet, so im still getting around on testing all of them but sa2 just goes to a 303 error on dreampipe, and sa1 archive website i waited a good 5 min and nothing came up. also what is kazedes dns?

I'll have to look into the SA1 redirect. The pages might have to be redirected directly to the landing page. It points the old page to sonic.dreampipe.net, which then points to the directory of the landing page. It not loading may be an issue of the double redirection. Test others if you can so if I know whether or not I have to do away with the subdomains and just manually redirect everything

Son sa1 archive page nows has the music when you first enter the site but nothing happens after and sa2 docent redirect to anything, just as a update

I'm waiting on my capacitors, resistors, and 9v battery clips to come in the mail for the line voltage inducer. I have the DreamPi ready to go. If it does not show by Saturday, I'll make a trip to a hardware store that sells them (If there is one in my area)

Keep checking this thread. When the statuses change from [ Test Pending ] to [ Online ] then they will work. Everything should be operational by next week

When we moved the site over to WordPress, we had to move the folders of SA1 and SA2. I just fixed the splash page, it should work now. But I cannot test until I build the line voltage inducer. But when I do, I'll have all the games with [Test Pending] configured correctly within a few days
