Supposed SEGA Statement on Using Official SDKs

Someone in the Dreamcast Online Skype supposedly works for SEGA in some shape or form. I say "supposedly" because there's no way to confirm it and I don't think he's supposed to confirm he does work for SEGA

I asked him to try and find out if the Windows CE SDK license can still be obtained, and this was his statement

"....But I just got off the phone with ______ at SEGA.

SOJ is not interested in licensing WinCe or the SDKs but also said they don't care legal standpoint if someone wanted to make a game using it and release it to the market since it's such a niche market
Which is the policy they have held about after-market games for DC in general and exactly what I thought they would say"

If this is true, this is amazing news for current and future Dreamcast developers. As Windows CE is a very powerful development platform

Developers can make high quality products and plausibly not worry about legal backlash from using the libraries. But there is no way to 100% confirm this
